Latinas need voice in abortion debate

This article talks about how Latina women need a voice in the abortion debate and how Justice Sonia Sotomayor gave Latina women a chance to speak out on the issues that they have been wanting for a long time. I think this article goes deeper than intended in terms of our class and social control because it is stating that Latina women just recently had the chance to speak out about what they wanted, or that they just now feel comfortable. It's almost 2010! Really, it took how long for the rights for this group of society to feel welcomed into the debate of abortion? To me that show how the expression of all individuals and groups are lacking in the government today and hopefully not too much longer into the future.
